The Pokemon TCG Holiday Calendar is the official card calendar, and the one most card players mean by “Pokemon card advent calendar.” The 2025 edition holds 25 surprises, according to the listings at Best Buy and Card Codex:

• 8 foil Pokemon cards, each with a festive stamp
• 6 full booster packs
• 7 mini fun packs with 3 cards each

Best Buy lists the 2025 calendar for ages 6 and up. The 2024 edition was close but not the same: Card Codex lists 5 booster packs instead of 6, plus a sidekick dangler featuring Chien-Pao.

Is there a 2026 card calendar?

No 2026 Pokemon TCG Holiday Calendar had been announced as of early October 2026, so the 2025 edition is the newest one on sale. Check the official Pokemon site before paying a premium for a listing that claims to be a 2026 edition.

The stamped foil cards are the part collectors care about, because they come only in this calendar. Booster packs differ by year, so the year printed on the box tells you which sets the packs come from.

The Jazwares Pokemon Holiday Calendar for younger fans

Jazwares, which makes the Pokemon Battle Figure toys, also makes the figure calendar. Each door holds a two-inch Pokemon figure in a holiday finish or a small festive accessory. The Toy Book described the standard box as 16 Battle Figures with a pearlized finish and 8 holiday accessories when Jazwares launched its calendars in 2021, and listed the calendars for ages 4 and up.

There is also a deluxe version. The Toy Insider’s review of the 2024 deluxe box counted 14 two-inch figures, 2 three-inch figures and 8 accessories behind 24 days, graded for ages 4 and up. Jazwares changes the figure lineup and counts from year to year, so read the year and the contents on the box before you buy.

Jazwares also made a shorter Halloween countdown. The Toy Book listed a 13-day Halloween calendar in 2021 with 8 costumed figures and 5 accessories, a good fit for a fan who wants an October countdown as well.

Funko Bitty Pop! calendar for small-figure collectors

Funko makes a Pokemon 2026 Edition Bitty Pop! advent calendar. Entertainment Earth lists 24 numbered doors of Bitty Pop! mini figures and accessories, each figure about 1 inch tall, which is smaller than a Pocket Pop. The doors are numbered rather than dated, so the box can be refilled and reused.
