See’s Candies made last season’s calendar as 24 drawers holding a full pound of chocolates and candy, AOL reported. It suits a household that will share the drawers. It also held Lollypops, so it is not chocolate-only; our candy advent calendar guide has the mix.

Lindt’s Giant Advent Calendar went further still last season. Lindt’s 2025 lineup included a 97-ounce box of assorted chocolates sold only at Costco, according to Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery,. How much chocolate is behind each door?

Where a brand gives a total weight, divide it by the number of doors to compare. Lindt’s 6.3 ounces across 24 pieces comes to about a quarter ounce a day, one small chocolate. Last season’s See’s calendar put about a pound across 24 drawers, roughly two-thirds of an ounce per drawer, so each day is closer to a few pieces. Last season’s 97-ounce Giant box held about 15 times the chocolate of its 6.3-ounce Teddy Bear calendar. Kinder’s Carousel packs 34 treats into 24 days, which means some doors hold more than one.

How to read the allergen label

U.S. labels must name each of the nine major food allergens, such as milk or tree nuts, either after the ingredient or in a “Contains” statement, according to the FDA. Chocolate calendars often add a “may contain” line for shared equipment. For someone with a severe allergy, that line matters as much as the ingredients.
